Hello everyone, and happy Valentine’s day. When I was living in Italy in 2014, I came across this message that has stuck with me to this day.
It says: ‘For Valentine’s Day, give the gift of the freedom to choose.’ Of course, it’s probably advertising gift cards or something, but I took it as a reminder about freedom and personal agency, because why not?
May you know and feel your innate, liberated nature today, and all days. Share your Valentine’s blessing in the comments if you like.
For those of you who are in Singapore, or with friends in Singapore, I wanted to let you know that I’m going to be offering in-person sessions at a very chic studio in Tanjong Pagar called Space 2B. It’s an elegant shophouse space dedicated to meditation, tantra and sound healing, fully soundproofed and literally radiant thanks to the skylight in the roof. I’ll share photos once I settle in and am there more regularly. You can read my bio page on their website here.
I’ll be at Space2B Sunday afternoons from 26 February, leading the following two sessions each weekend:
Instinctive Meditation™ · Sundays 2-3PM
Instinctive Meditation™ is an approach to meditation that makes meditation feel completely effortless and natural. Based in embodiment and the traditions of tantra, this style welcomes your whole self into the meditative space. If you’re struggling with meditation, or you believe it’s just not for you—this could be the session that changes everything. Join for a relaxing and liberating experience where you’ll learn how to weave together body, emotions, desires, instincts and thoughts into a fulfilling meditation practice that’s unique to you. No prior experience required.
Oxygen Advantage® Breathwork · Sundays 3.30-4.30PM
We all know how important breathing is: but do you know how to breathe optimally for your body and life? This session will introduce you to a revolutionary breathwork approach - called Oxygen Advantage® - that combines the best of breathing science with time-tested yogic breathing techniques (pranayama).
Learn how even small changes in the way you breathe can have a profound impact on your physical health, your ability to focus, your mood and energy levels, your sleep quality and much more. This approach is perfect for anyone seeking practical and empowering ways to transform themselves and their lives for the better.
No prior experience required—but bring an open and experimental attitude for maximum benefit.
Please feel free to drop by (book a session here), and share with friends. I’m really looking forward to this new chapter as it’s been over a year since I’ve been able to exercise my creativity and express myself by leading group sessions. Both these offerings have been incubating for a while—and they are really fresh and juicy practices that I’m sure you will get a lot out of.
In future I also have workshops planned, and other good stuff, which I will share when the time comes. Thank you for all your support and the good wishes that led me here, and I hope to see you in the space sometime soon.
Regular posts will resume from next week, with a new essay series on the virtual world. Please subscribe to receive those direct in your inbox:
